Alto de La Cañada (01-02-07)

Wenas!!!

A pesar de que han pasado unos dias desde que realizamos esta actividad(ya lo siento,pero es que he andado liado),os dejamos el típico “ladrillo”,asi de paso podeis ver como está la zona.

Como las previsiones del tiempo no eran muy buenas para la zona de San Glorio o de Los Mampodres,decidimos tirar hacia el Oeste,ya que por allí eran menos malas…y de paso visitamos una zona a la que normalmente no solemos acercarnos,pero que últimamente nos está dejando buen sabor de boca(a ver si me pongo,y subo las fotos de 2 salidas por la zona del Cirbanal,y por la zona de los lagos de Saliencias;eso si,sin nieve… ).

Bueno,a lo que vamos.Según el INM,las probabilidades de precipitación eran del 10 %,y las previsiones eran de nubes.Pero como era eso o no salir,decidimos tirar para Babia;y menos mal que lo hicimos!!!

El objetivo esta vez era El Alto de La Cañada,en la divisoria de las cuencas del Omaña y Luna.2157 m según algunos libros,2154 m según otros.Una salida larga,larga(al final pasaron 8 horas y 25 minutos hasta que volvimos alcoche;eso si,con tranquilidad).

Salimos del pueblo de Riolago de Babia,a 1227 m.Aparacamos hacia el final del pueblo,donde el hielo ya no nos dejaba avanzar.

Espectacular la travesía y preciosas las fotos, es una de las que se nos va quedando de un año para otro, a ver si este por fin le conseguimos meter mano; ¿qué tal la bajada? no consigo descargar el video

Deléitanos muchas veces con estos "ladrillos".
Que pasada de día y menudo palizón.
Ya casi que me da vergüenza colgar nuestra salida de hoy.

que bueno! Estuvimos Jabatus y yo haciendo el alto de la cañada hace tiempo en primavera (u otoño, que ya ni me acuerdo) pero no me acordaba de la ruta y me suena que nos es la misma que la tuya. En cualquier caso mi pregunta era:¿por qué la gente no viene aquí a hacer ski de travesía? Parece que siempre nos centramos en las mismas zonas mientras otras igual de buenas se quedan vacías!!

Pues por que nos quedamos siempre en lo que conocemos.
Yo también me quedé sorprendida este verano, al hacer una ruta de BTT por Babia, de lo maravillosa que es esa zona, como yo digo, la gran desconocida.

Muy bonito el "ladrillo" xtremo, con esa descripcion de ruta no se necesitan mapas .

Impresionantes las Ubiñas y ese huerto del Diablo a tope de nieve.

Creo que ya está solucionado lo del video.
La verdad,creo que esta ruta se aprovecha mejor con esquis que con raquetas,ya que las zonas de las brañas son un pelín llanas(de hecho,nos tuvimos que quitar las tablas en esas zonas);pero bueno,si lo único que buscaramos fueran las bajadas...

Mira que cada dia que pasa me vuelve a picar el gusanillo de los palillos...jejeje ... quien sabe...
